AMD releases a new series of fourth generation EPYC CPU products, showcasing its artificial intelligence strategy

On June 13th, at the "Data Center and Al Technology Premiere", Dr. Lisa Su, Chairman and CEO of AMD, announced the addition of a new workload optimization processor to the fourth generation EPYC CPU product portfolio, support for the next generation AMD Instinct accelerator and generative artificial intelligence software, and a product and ecosystem partnership strategy that will shape the future of computing, marking the company's accelerated move towards the next stage of data center innovation.



Based on the new "Zen 4c" core architecture, The AMD EPYC 97X4 cloud native optimized data center CPU further expands the EPYC 9004 series processors to provide the thread density and scale required for leading cloud native computing. Meanwhile, AMD announced the fourth generation AMD EPYC processor using AMD 3D V-Cache technology, which is highly suitable for the most demanding technology computing workloads.
